Lucille Angela Vuich, passed away peacefully April 17, 2021 at the age of 90.
Lucille was born in Monroe April 10, 1931 to the late Benjamin and Sarah (LaPrad) Leonard and was the fifth of six children. She was educated in Monroe Public Schools.
On September 15, 1951 she married Daniel M. Vuich, Sr. at St. Mary Catholic Church. He died May 18, 1998 after 46 years of marriage.
Lucille owned Danny's Fine Foods along with her husband, which is now owned operated by her son, Danny Vuich, Jr. and her daughter, Karen Vuich Bellino. She also owned Danny's Frozen Custard operated by her daughter, Kellie Vuich. Lucille was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, her parents, sisters Ruth Garrett and Virginia Calkins, and brothers James Leonard and Benjamin Leonard.
She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Monroe Women's Center, Monroe Thrift Shop, Advisory Board of Family Counseling, and Monroe Golf and Country Club.
She is survived by four children; Dianna Vuich, Karen (Daniel) Vuich Bellino, Daniel (Susan) Vuich Jr, and Kellie Vuich; ten grandchildren, Thomas Bellestri, Michael Bellestri, Nicole Bellino, Anthony Bellino, Daniel (Ashleigh) Vuich III, Taylor Vuich, Travis Vuich, Griffin Vuich, James Pauli and Christopher Pauli; great grandchildren, Cassidi Bellestri, Carli Bellestri, Gianna Bellestri, Mariella Bellestri, Andrew Vuich, and Jackson Vuich; a sister, Maryann (Dan) Mullholand.
Visitation will be held at the Bacarella Funeral Home located at 1201 S. Telegraph Road in Monroe on Tuesday from 1-7pm. She will lie in state on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at St. Mary Catholic Church beginning at 10:00 am followed by Mass of the Resurrection celebrating her life at 11:00 am. Reverend Brian Chabala and Reverend David Burgard will preside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, St. Mary Catholic Central High School for the Daniel and Lucille Vuich Scholarship Fund, Gabby's Ladder, or to a charity of choice.
