LuAnn D'Alessandri, age 69 of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 12, 2026 in her home.
LuAnn was born on August 5, 1956 in Monroe. She graduated from Hayworth High School in Kokomo, IN and soon married Frank D. D'Alessandri on May 17, 1974 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Monroe.
LuAnn embraced being a homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She had a special connection with her grandkids. She enjoyed knitting, cooking and baking, especially around the holidays. Her family always looked forward to her homemade cannoli's. She also adored animals and had a soft spot for dogs.
LuAnn is survived by her husband Frank; daughter, Andrea D'Alessandri of Ionia, MI; son, Ryan (Angela Roberts) D'Alessandri of Monroe; three grandchildren: Donald Duvall, Destinee Bowling, and Kira D'Alessandri; and great-grandchild, Mercury.
LuAnn is preceded in death by her mother, Lydia (Cloum) Lowe and brother, Ronald Cloum.
Family and friends may visit from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Mar. 18th at Bacarella Funeral Home. LuAnn will lie in state at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m.. Rev. Fr. Michael Anagbogu will officiate followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.
