Linda "Lin" Joye Andreoli, age 60, of Monroe, went into the arms of her Savior, Sunday, January 29, 2023 in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Lin was born June 28, 1962 in Monroe, she was the daughter of Kenneth C. and Carolyn F. (Bruce) Hoyt. She married Mark V. Andreoli June 3, 1995 in Monroe.
She was a 1980 graduate of Monroe High School. She was also graduate of Spring Arbor University and later graduated from UTMC with a master's degree in nursing.
Lin was a member of Redeemer Fellowship Baptist Church and served as treasurer of Pro Life Man.
Lin proudly served her country in the U.S. Navy for 24 years retiring in December 2021. She was a Mass Communication Specialist obtaining the rank of MCC(EXW).
She started her career in broadcasting, where she worked at WPOS and later was Lynn Cassidy, the voice of traffic in Toledo on WSPD, The River and WTOL. She was also the stroke manager at Henry Ford Hospital Wyandotte.
She enjoyed traveling and her and Mark liked to play music together occasionally playing at coffee houses and church.
Lin is survived by her husband of 27 years, Mark Andreoli of Monroe, her mother, Carolyn Hoyt of Carleton, siblings Karen Newby and her son Christian Newby of Monroe and Kenneth "Bucky" (Angela) Hoyt and his three children of Marion, KS; aunt Shirley Bruce of Monroe and many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe. She will lie instate at Redeemer Fellowship Baptist Church, 5305 Evergreen Dr., Monroe with funeral services at 11 a.m. Rev. John Piippo and Rev. Tim Curry will officiate and military honors will be provided by active duty military members and VFW Post 1138 Monroe. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
