Linda Lee Gilstorf, 66 years, of Monroe, Michigan passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at MagnumCare of Monroe.
Born October 29, 1948 in Trenton, Michigan, Linda was the daughter of the late Harley and Dorothy (McCoy) Gilstorf. Linda attended school in Carleton, Michigan and was a 1968 graduate of Airport High School.
Linda was a wonderful homemaker and was a former member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Waltz, Michigan. Linda enjoyed listening to music and was a huge fan of Elvis Presley.
Linda is survived by two loving sons: Joe L. Gilstorf and his fiancé Nikole, of Newport, MI and Richard M. and Kim Gilstorf of Monroe, nine cherished grandchildren: Nickolas, Lauren, Richard, Austin, Hannah, Madeline, Jaiden, Ryley, and Ryan, and a brother Richard (Sandy) Gilstorf of Trenton, MI. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by a sister Carol Owens.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1-6 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI 48161 where funeral services celebrating her life will be held on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Dr. Joseph Byrd, pastor of Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center, will officiate. Entombment will follow at Michigan Memorial Park in Flat Rock, MI.
