Lilburn W. "Butch" Beauman, age 77, of Monroe, passed away Sunday, July 17, 2022 in his home surrounded by his loving family under hospice care.
Butch was born April 1, 1945 in Monroe. He was the son of Lilburn Wilson and Henrietta (Foster) Beauman, Sr. He married Janice Miller on August 13, 1966 in Monroe, MI.
He attended Jefferson Schools.
Butch was a conductor for Canadian National Railroad for 40 years before his retirement in 2005.
He was a member of Monroe Area Street Rods, Moose International Monroe Lodge 884 and was a lifetime member of Monroe Rod and Gun Club.
Butch enjoyed deer hunting, hunting for morels and snowmobiling up north. After retiring he spent all his time with Jan on their Harley Davidson, attending auctions, collecting antiques and cruising in their classic Chevrolets. You could always find Butch at the car shows with Jan and their friends.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janice Beauman of Monroe; two children, Heather (Steve) Martin of Yorkville, WI and Jeffrey (Stephanie) Beauman of Englewood, CO; two grandchildren, Abigail Martin and Nicholas Martin both of Yorkville, WI; two sisters, Lena Wilt and Betty Jewel both of Monroe.
He is preceded in death by his father; mother, Henrietta Kiefer and a sister, Linda Cousino.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 2 – 7 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 22, 2022. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
