Lawrence A. Kuzich, age 84 of LaSalle, MI, passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. He had been in declining health for six months.
Born May 23, 1939 in Detroit, MI, Larry was the son of the late Alexander and Genevieve (Koblarz) Kuzich. He graduated from Huron High School in New Boston in 1957 and married Antoinette R. Bracciano on July 7, 1962 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Carleton, MI.
Larry was employed by Ford Motor Company in Monroe for 32 years as a Tool & Die Maker before retiring in 1997. He was also a self-made builder. Larry and his wife were still enjoying the home he made for them 50 years ago. His personal hobbies included landscaping, woodworking, and photography.
Larry is survived by his wife of 61 years, Antoinette; three sons, Martin Kuzich of Louisville, KY, Robert Kuzich of Monroe, and Michael (Katherine) Kuzich of Chapel Hill, NC; three siblings, Donald (Karen) Kuzich of Flat Rock, MI, Linda (Ron) Cross of Augusta, MI, and Dean Kuzich of Hillsdale, MI; two grandchildren, Kameron Kuzich and McKenzie (Jarrett Anderson) Kuzich.
In addition to his parents, Larry is preceded in death by three siblings, Sandra Drzazgowski, Joel Kuzich, and infant Jimmy.
Family and friends may visit from 9 a.m. until time of memorial service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 2nd at Bacarella Funeral Home.
