Kenneth G. "Kenny" Cobb, age 67, of Newport, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2022 in his sister's home under hospice care.
Kenny was born April 19, 1955 in Ann Arbor, Michigan he was the son of Vernon C. and Janet Arlene (Letoureau) Cobb.
He attended Jefferson Schools and was a self-employed painter in the Monroe area.
He loved spending time with his family, going camping and fishing and watching sports. He was a very funny man who was always the life of the party, and he had lots of friends. Kenny enjoyed going to his local pub to see friends and play pool.
He is survived by his son, Ryan William Cobb of Monroe, seven siblings, Robert (Kimberly) Cobb of Monroe, Claudia (Ronald) Loope of Oregon, OH, Bernard (Traci) Cobb, Tina (Jeff) Papp, Dale Cobb, Kelli (Jeff) Williams all of Monroe and Traci (Phillip) Fairchild of Newport; a few step children and grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and their families. He will especially be missed by his nephew "Moe" Cobb who spent many weekends watching football and baseball together.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 7, 2022 from 12 noon until funeral services at 4 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe. Rev. Hendrico Rebello SAC, pastor of St. Anne and St. Charles Churches, officiating. Burial will be held at a later date at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
The family suggests memorial contributions in Kenny's memory be made to American Cancer Society.
