Kathleen A. "Kat" Gibson, age 67, of Temperance, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at home.
Kat was born February 4, 1958 to Dale and Geraldine (Yarger) Herron. She married William F. Gibson on February 22, 1974, sadly he preceded her in death on November 1, 2024.
Generous to a fault, Kat always put everyone first before herself. She was a loving and devoted mother who loved her family deeply.
She is survived by her two sons, Jason Gibson of Temperance and Jeremy Gibson of Toledo; four grandchildren, two great grandchildren, three sisters, Maureen (Ernest) Mullins, Judith (Mike) Brant, and Laura Herron; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Kat was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Teresa Hill; infant brother John; and two nephews, Dorian Mullins and George Mullins.
In accordance with Kat's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan 48161, followed by a memorial service celebrating her life beginning at 1 p.m. which will be officiated by Pastor Kyle Kaminski.
