Kathleen Kay Bressler, age 75 of Monroe, passed away Monday afternoon, Nov. 22nd, in her home.
Born February 18, 1946 in Marshall, MI, Kathy was the daughter of the late William and Isabelle (Curley) Bressler. She graduated from Jefferson High School in 1964 and began a long career in the billing department at Mercy Memorial Hospital that spanned 45 years.
Kathy was an avid NASCAR fan and liked to watch and attend hockey games. She enjoyed shopping, playing board games and cards, and looked forward to her annual visit to Frankenmuth, MI.
Kathy is survived by a sister, Rosemarie (Henry) Meyer of Monroe; five nieces and nephews: Gary (Kimberly) Cox, Thomas (Karla) Meyer, Barbara Ray, Brenda West, and Carrie (William) Beaudrie; five great-nephews; eight great-nieces; four great-great-nieces; one great-great-nephew; and caregiver and friend, Alicia Parsons.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was also preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Theresa and David Cox; and two brothers, William Bressler, Jr. and Michael Bressler.
Family and friends may visit Sunday, Nov. 28th from 11 a.m. until service at 1:30 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home. Deacon Michael Stewart will officiate. Interment will be private at Roselawn Memorial Park.
