Karol A. Dise, age 82, of Monroe, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 26, 2025.
Karol was born September 22, 1942 in Monroe, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Lillian (Vargo) Maletich. Karol graduated from Monroe High School in 1961. She married Clayton Eugene Dise in 1962, at the First Presbyterian Church in Monroe. Together Clayton and Karol shared a loving 62 years of marriage, raising two daughters along the way.
Karol was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a wonderful homemaker and in her free time she enjoyed shopping and playing bingo. More than anything else she loved spending time with her family, she always treasured seeing her children, grandchildren, and siblings.
Karol is survived by her husband, Clayton; two daughters, Kathy Kackmeister of Monroe and Lisa (Randy) Smith of Temperance; six siblings, her twin sister Karon Hudson, Daniel (Sherry) Maletich, Brenda (Larry) Montri, Sandy (Ben) Budzios, Michael (Sue) Maletich, and Lori (Greg) Kelly, all of Monroe; five grandchildren, Justin Wright, Brittni (Jamey) Riggs, Olivia (John) White, Erika (David) Szymanski, and Logan Smith; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 from 4:30 to 7 P.M. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe where a service of remembrance will be held at 7 P.M.
