Julius E. Fisher, age 66, a lifelong resident of Monroe, MI. passed away Monday, December 04, 2006 at 10:16 AM in his home. Julius had been in poor health for several years. Julius was born July 9, 1940 in Monroe, MI. the son of Milton W. and Anna (Valeri) Fisher. Julius married Joan G. Bolster-Dennis on October 22, 1960 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Monroe. Julius owned and operated Fisher Painting in Monroe until his retirement in 2001. Julius also worked for Jones Transfer in Monroe. A 1958 Graduate of Monroe High School, Julius enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and above all else being with his family. Julius is survived by his beloved wife Joan, his dear parents Milton and Anna Fisher of Monroe, 3 loving children; Julius E. (Lori) Fisher Jr., Keith D. (Cathy) Fisher, and Tara N. Fisher all of Monroe, MI. a brother Milton D. (Clara) Fisher and a sister Margaret (Rod) Bosanac both of Monroe, MI. Also surviving are 4 cherished grandchildren and 3 cherished step grandchildren. Sadly his brother Walter Fisher preceded him in death. Visitation for Julius will be held on Wednesday from 12-9 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home where funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, December 7, 2006 at 2:00 PM. The Rev. Roy Southerland pastor of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow in London Township Cemetery. Julius's family requests memorials contributions be made to the Monroe Cancer Connection or a charity of the donor's choice.
