Judy Kay (Davis) McKart, age 78, of Monroe, passed away Friday, June 16, 2023 at University of Toledo Medical Center.
Judy was born June 12, 1945 in Monroe, she was the daughter of Buford and Typhenia (Williamson) McKart. She married Bobbie C. Davis July 30, 1966 in Monroe; he preceded her in death July 10, 2005.
She was a graduate of Monroe High School and from Mary Grove College medical/dental assistant program.
Judy was a member of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church, VFW Post 1138 Ladies Auxiliary and the NRA. She loved listening to music and watching sports.
Judy worked for Mazda (Auto Alliance International) Plant in Flat Rock until her retirement in 2002.
She is survived by her son, Shawn E. (Rhonda) Davis of Monroe; four brothers, Eugene McKart, Jerry McKart, Dennis McKart and Tab McKart all of Monroe; sister-in-law, Betty McKart of Monroe, special brother and sister, Anthony and Belinda Webb of Monroe; two grandchildren, Ashley (Will) Cooper and Jory (Holly) Davis and four great grandchildren, McKenzie Hutchison, Sydney Hutchison, Ashton Davis and Greyson Davis.
Judy is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Harold McKart.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd. Monroe where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday with Rev. Harold Raines officiating. The family encourages all guests to dress casually and to wear Wolverines, Tigers, or Tennessee Volunteers clothing if possible. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
