Joseph D. Dufour Jr., age 51, of LaSalle, MI passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2007 at 8:48 PM in his home. Joe had been in declining health for 6 months. Joe was born January 12, 1957 in Monroe, MI the son of Joseph D. and Donna (Hanna) Dufour Sr. Joe was a 1975 graduate of Mason High School. On December 6, 1980 Joe married Vickie S. Hargis in Monroe. Joe along with his wife Vickie have owned and operated Pet Pal for the past 22 years. Prior to owning Pet Pal Joe worked as a painter for Autobody in Monroe. Joe was a member of The Moose Lodge #886 and the Monroe County Rod and Gun Club. Joe hobbies included; hunting, fishing and cars. Joe enjoyed his pets and riding his Harley. Joe is survived by his beloved wife Vickie, his loving daughter and son in law; Julie Lynn and Jae Smith of Temperance, MI and his beloved parents of Erie, MI. Sadly his brother Daniel J. Dufour preceded him in death. Memorial contributions may be given to the Monroe County Humane Society. In accordance with Joe's wishes there will be no visitation or services.
