Jordan Matthew Alan Pitock, 7 months, of Monroe, MI went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at 10:45 PM at his home. Jordan was born with a rare genetic disorder. Jordan was born November 7, 2007 in Trenton, MI the son of Matthew J. and Heather N. (Brown) Pitock. Jordan lived a short but amazing life and loved listening to music. Jordan is survived by his nurturing parents Matt and Heather Pitock, his beloved grandparents; Mike and Christine Pitock of Carleton, Jim Brown of Carleton and Kim Buzan of Monroe, great grandparents; Vinson Calkins, of Monroe, Tom and Doris Buzan of Loogootee, IN, Peggy Remer of Flat Rock and Nelson and Sue Brown Huntington, Woods, MI, his uncle Mike Pitock of Carleton and his aunt Arika Brown of Carleton. Sadly he was preceded in death by a great grandmother Eleanor Calkins and a great grandfather Roger Remer. A memorial service celebrating Jordan's amazing life will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2008 at 4:00 PM at Monroe Church Of The Nazarene, 3401 S. Custer Rd., Monroe, of which Jordan was a member. The Rev. Randy Hartman pastor of the church will officiate. Memorial contributions may be given to the CS Mott Children's Hospital at the University of Michigan.
