John C. Neal, 50 years, of Monroe, Michigan went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at ProMedica Monroe Regional Hospital. John passed away from COVID19 and his family would like to stress to everyone, please get vaccinated.
Born January 30, 1971 in Monroe, John Smith Christopher Robin Neal as he was affectionately known by family, was the son of Louis M. and Marigail K. (White) Stubleski. He attended Monroe Public Schools and was a 1989 graduate of Monroe High School.
John was employed first at Bay Corrugated Container Corporation, then Chrysler Corporation and by Georgia-Pacific Corporation.
John was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching all types of sports. His favorite teams were the Philadelphia Phillies, Michigan State Spartans, the Chargers, and the Detroit Red Wings. He also enjoyed playing golf, fishing, working on automobiles, grilling, cooking, and helping others with all types of projects. Most of all, John enjoyed time spent with friends and family, especially his brother and best friend Aaron.
John is survived by his loving daughter, Brenna Rae Neal of Weidman, MI, his beloved parents; Marigail and Louis of Monroe, five brothers; Michael (Christine) Neal of Monroe, Mark (Ruth) Neal of Spring City, TN, David Neal of Monroe, Kyle (Shital Thekdi) Stubleski of Richmond, VA, and Aaron Stubleski of Monroe as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 1-4 pm at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI, 48161, where funeral services celebrating John's life will begin at 4:00 pm. Rev. Andrea L. Johnson, pastor of Calvary United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Since John always wore a ball cap, wearing a ball cap of your favorite team and casual attire is suggested.
