John O. Gose, age 66 of Bitely, MI, formerly of Monroe, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 at Corewell Health Hospital in Big Rapids, MI.
Born August 21, 1958 in Monroe, John was the son of the late Leo L. and Ruby P. (McNew) Gose.
While residing in Monroe, John was employed by several furniture retailers in various capacities and delivery service. He was an avid fan of Harley Davidson motorcycles and memorabilia. When he wasn't riding his bike, he enjoyed woodworking and doing genealogy research.
John is survived by his children: Jonathan Gose of Farwell, MI, Crystal (Jason) Wilkinson of Bitely, MI, Misty Gose of Reed City, MI, Samantha Garza-Gose of Bear Lake, MI, Christina Gose of Wayland, MI, and Nathaniel Gose of Mt. Pleasant, MI; three brothers: Terry Gose of Monroe, Garry (Vicki) Gose of Riverview, FL, and James Gose of Monroe; and 15 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by a son, David Raymer; five sisters: Nellie Gose, Marie White, Lillian Connors, and infant sisters, Rosemary and Vanessa Gose; brother, Larry "Junior" Gose; and sister-in-law, Cynthia Gose.
All are welcome to attend a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 5th at Woodland Cemetery. Rev. Larry Detruf and Pastor Chuck Swarthout will officiate. Bacarella Funeral Home is assisting the family with funeral and burial arrangements.
