Jeffrey R. "Mudd" Vanderpool, 45 years of Monroe, MI. passed away Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 4:45 AM in his parents home. Jeff had been in poor health for 8 months. Jeff was born December 19, 1961 in Monroe, MI the son of Charles G. and Shirley L. (Brewer) Vanderpool. On August 22, 1980 at Grace Lutheran Church Jeff married Tanya J. Miller. Jeff was employed as a switcher operator for TNT Logistics in Flat Rock, MI for the past 18 years. Jeff was a member of United Steel Workers Union #825 District 2. Jeff enjoyed bowling, fishing with his grandsons, NASCAR, motorcycles and playing cards. Jeff is survived by his wife Tanya J., his mother Shirley L. Vanderpool, his grandmother Cora Vanderpool of Saline, MI, 2 sons; Shane A. (Rebecca) Blessing and Jesse A. (Raquel) Vanderpool both of Newport, MI. 2 brothers; Charles D. (Maria) Vanderpool and Robert E. Vanderpool both of Monroe, MI and 3 cherished grandsons. Sadly Jeff was preceded in death by his father Charles on February 15, 2005.Visitation for Jeff will be held on Monday from 12-9 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home where funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 1:00 PM. The Rev. Harold Raines and the Rev. Gary Pickerell pastors of Monroe Full Gospel Church will officiate. Interment will follow at LaSalle Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Henry Ford Hospice.
