Jeffrey J. Marshall, age 65 of Monroe, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025.
Born July 13, 1959 in Monroe, Jeff was the son of Stanley and Mary Lou (Billock) Marshall. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1977 and married Holly A. Carr on June 17, 1983 at St. Mary Catholic Church. Together they raised two children.
Jeff was employed by Tenneco as a Test Technician for over 40 years, retiring in 2020. He was known as a "Jack of all Trades" by his family who claim he could fix anything. He enjoyed working with his hands and passing on his skills to his "Little Apprentice" Lily. He also enjoyed fishing and Motocross Racing.
Jeff is survived by Holly; his children, Kelsey Nuznov of Dearborn, MI and Matthew (Alyssa) Marshall of Temple, TX; four grandchildren: Lily Marshall, Daisy Nuznov, Nora Marshall, and Cooper Marshall; three siblings, Scott (Polly) Marshall of Monroe, Denise (Richard) Hoctor of Fruita, CO, and Michele (Lionel Kassel) Soncrant of Virginia Beach, VA; mother, Mary Lou (Robert) Soncrant of Monroe.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father; son, Justin Marshall; brother, David Marshall; grandmother, Nellie Nash; mother-in-law, Mary Ann Carr; and son-in-law, Paul Nuznov.
Bacarella Funeral Home is assisting the family with cremation and funeral arrangements. Family and friends may visit from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 10th at Bacarella Funeral Home where a memorial service will begin at 2 p.m. Family friend and relative, Rev. Fr. Bob Bauer will officiate.
