Jason Lee Miller, age 51, of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
Born March 5, 1971 in Monroe, he was the son of Judith A. Miller – Gore.
Jason was a 1989 graduate of Monroe High School. He was employed by Insurance Auto Auctions.
He loved going to concerts, sitting by bonfires, cracking jokes, and watching people enjoy a meal that he made for them.
Jason was the kind of person that would choose to give what he had when he saw that someone was in need, even if that left him with nothing.
His daughter, Jayleigh, was his pride and the apple of his eye.
Jason is survived by his mother and stepfather, Judith A. Miller – Gore and Joe E. Gore, of Monroe; two children, Devin Lee Miller of Monroe and Jayleigh Mae Miller of Romulus, three siblings, Amanda (Adam Minadeo) Gore of Greenville, SC, Christopher Gore of Monroe and Joseph C. (Kelly) Gore of Lambertville.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Autumn Miller.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. Bacarella Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. There will be a celebration of life gathering held from 2pm to 5pm Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Moose Lodge at 1320 N. Macomb Street in Monroe, Michigan for all who would like to gather on Jason's behalf. A prayer and sharing of stories will begin around 3pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Toledo Restoration Church, 1375 W. Sylvania Ave., Toledo, OH 43612.
