Jane Pai, age 72 of Monroe passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. Jane was born August 15, 1949 in Taiwan. She was the daughter of Xueyi Yang and Bulian Chenxu. She married William Pai.
Jane and her husband, William, came to Monroe in September 1983 and made it their home. At Monroe Community College Jane learnt English, integrated into American society and managed Greenlawn Grove Flea Market for 20 years as well as worked at the family import business AADI for 37 years.
Not one for procrastination, Jane has always met her challenges head on with her greatest attribute- efficiency. Being tireless and selfless in providing for her family, she is the pillar. Jane will be dearly missed. And not just by her family, for Jane was a generous soul with empathy and consideration for friends and colleagues.
She is survived by her husband, William Pai of Monroe; two children, Kally (Nick) Khoo of London and Gary (Xiaomeng) Pai of Monroe; fourgrandchildren, Isabella, Elena, Abraham and Samuel; three sisters and one
brother.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
Visitation and services were private. Bacarella Funeral Home assisted the
family with arrangements.
