James D. Kleinert, age 73 of Monroe, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025 in his home.
Born August 23, 1952 in Monroe, Jim was the son of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Bizoe) Kleinert. He graduated from Monroe High School in 1972 and was employed as a custodian for Monroe Public Schools for several years.
Jim is survived by a brother, David (Debbie) Kleinert of Carleton, MI and a sister, Beverly Kleinert of Monroe; six nieces and nephews: David Kleinert, Holly (Paulo) Dusicska, Heidi (Will) Lang, Mary (Leonard) Wheeler, Brandy (Phillip) Runyon, John Freiberg, and their families.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a brother, Frederick who recently passed on June 4th.
Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 15th from 4 p.m. until services at 6 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home. Rev. Roy Southerland will officiate. Burial will be privately attended by family at Roselawn Memorial Park.
