James Peter Duvall, age 78, of Jerome, formerly of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Hospice of Lenawee in Adrian.
Jim was born on June 30, 1947, in Monroe, Michigan, to Wilbur and Eileen (Lazette) Duvall. He was a 1965 graduate of Monroe High School. Jim was employed by Ford Motor Company for many years before his retirement. Additionally, he worked as a barber at Attillio's in Monroe for numerous years.
Jim enjoyed riding motorcycles and often participated in extended rides with fellow bike riders. He also accompanied the Patriot Guard Riders when needed and took part in various charitable rides and fundraising events. His other hobbies included gardening and riding his golf cart around the lake community and visiting friends and neighbors. Jim also loved spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his son, Craig Duvall of Gibraltar; his daughter, Felisha Duvall of Toledo; three siblings: Donald (Susanna) Duvall of Jerome, Kenneth (Linda) Duvall of Texas, and Mary Watterson of Monroe; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; his close friend and "bestie", Kelly Depp Gambrell.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his two sons, Paul Duvall and Gerald Duvall; his brothers, Larry Duvall and Randall Duvall; and his brother-in-law, James Watterson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, where a service will begin at 6:45 p.m. In accordance with Jim's wishes, cremation will take place after the service.
