Jackson Kristian Kastner, was lovingly laid into the Arms of God on March 27, 2011 at the tender age of 4.
Jackson was born July 25, 2006 in Wyandotte, MI the son of Melissa A. (Vladetic) Kastner and James K. Kastner.
Jackson enjoyed his classmates and his time spent at Riverside School through the Monroe County Intermediate School District. Jackson also enjoyed being outside where he loved playing in the dirt and with rocks.
Most of all Jackson loved his family. His loving ways will always be remembered by his nurturing mother Melissa, his 2 cherished siblings; Dennis James Edward King and Josie Kristine Kastner, his beloved grandmother; Sue Vladetic of Monroe, his father James K Kastner of Erie, MI and his aunt Christine Kastner also of Erie, MI. Sadly he was preceded in death by his grandfather Milan Vladetic.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 1, 2011 at the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., in Monroe, from 11:00 AM until funeral services celebrating his precious life at 1:00 PM. The Rev. Roy Southerland pastor of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Autism Speaks, 5455 Wilshire Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90036.
Jackson's family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to the Michigan State Police, Monroe County Sheriff's Department, volunteer fire departments, neighbors, family, friends, and all those who assisted in the search efforts.
