Jackie W. "Jack" Murari, 58 years, of Monroe, MI passed away Friday, June 25, 2010 in Medilodge of Monroe after a courageous battle with Esophageal Cancer.
Jack was born July 13, 1951 in Middlesboro, KY the son of the late Steve and Ethel (Webb) Murari. Jack grew up in Monroe and was a 1969 graduate of Monroe High School.
Jack was employed by Laborer's Local 465 for 25 years. He also worked at Steel Castings in Monroe. For 13 years Jack was a volunteer for the Monroe Township Fire Department.
Jack enjoyed hunting, and fishing and was a former member of both Ducks Unlimited and the Canvasback Gun Club.
Jack is survived by 2 daughters; Lisa Hicks of Toledo, OH and Lori (Michael) Ball of Petersburg, MI, 4 grandchildren; Cooper Hicks, and Dakota, Taylor, and Tristan Ball, and a brother George Murari of Davison, MI.
In addition to his parents Jack was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Mildred Marlow and Carol (Judy) Bilski and 2 brothers; Ray and Glen Powell.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 1-8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., in Monroe, where funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Sean O'Neal pastor of Stewart Road Christian Ministries Center will officiate.
