Jack David Carr, 64, of Comins, MI, formerly of Monroe, passed away in his home on Monday, September 10, 2007. He was born in Monroe, MI on July 8, 1943 to Charlie and Esther (Foster) Carr. Sadly, they have preceded him in death. He married the former Marge Cordts in 1965 in Monroe. While residing in Monroe he had worked for La-Z-Boy Furniture and Langton Builders. He moved from Monroe to Comins, MI in 1983. Jack was an avid outdoorsman who especially enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his snowmobile, as well as flower gardening. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Comins, MI. He leaves to mourn his loving children, Danny Joseph (Sharon) Carr of Newport, MI, Charles David (Karen MacArthur) Mata of Blandon, PA, Tammy Marie (Mark) Goodnuff of Monroe, and Kristy Jo (Keith) Kasch of Toledo, OH, dear brother and sister, Charles (Polly) Carr of Monroe and Carolyn (Wilbur) Burkett of Ida, MI, and 6 cherished grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Bacarella Funeral Home, Monroe on Sunday from 3-9 PM, funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11 AM Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Roy Southerland officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, MI.
