Howard A. "Howie" Sieb, age 72 of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2024 in his home due to complications of Parkinson's Disease.
Born January 16, 1952 in Monroe, Howie was the son of the late Donald and Helen (Krueger) Sieb. He attended Trinity Lutheran School and graduated from Monroe High School in 1970.
On February 19, 1972, Howard married his high school sweetheart, Brenda G. Goins at Trinity Lutheran Church. Together they raised two daughters.
Howie was employed as a plumber/pipefitter through Union Local 671 for over 45 years. He was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pheasants Forever, and the Lincoln Hunting Club. His hobbies included hunting, gardening, fishing, and doing crossword puzzles.
Howie is survived by his wife of 52 years, Brenda Sieb; his daughters, Tanya (Michael) Timiney and Amy (Michael) Buettner, both of Monroe; three siblings, Susie (Michael) Reaume of Newport, MI, Tom (Pam) Sieb of Monroe, and Karen (Bryan) McDaniel of Monroe; seven grandchildren: Alyssa Lucio, Katie Lucio, Matthew Timiney, Ben Timiney, Kameron Buettner, Josh Buettner and Ryleigh Buettner; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Kelsea.
Family and friends may visit from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25th at Bacarella Funeral Home. Howie will lie in state Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church. Interim Senior Pastor, Rev. John Carrier will officiate followed by burial at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
