Helen E. Heck, 102 years, of Temperance, MI a former resident of Marian Place in Monroe, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Hickory Ridge of Temperance. Helen was born April 19, 1907 in Warren, IN the daughter of the late Winfred and Maggie Mae (Paul) Shutt. On September 20, 1945 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Monroe Helen married her beloved husband Hazen E. Heck, Sadly he preceded her in death on April 20, 1979. Helen worked as an office clerk for Michigan Mutual Liability Company for 25 years, retiring in 1972, she was also a homemaker. Helen was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Temperance. She enjoyed gardening. On Monday, December 28, 2009 she will lie in state at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 8330 Lewis Ave., Temperance, MI 48182, from 1:00 PM until Mass of the Resurrection celebrating her life at 2:00 PM. Fr. Stephen Rooney pastor of the church will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Society of St. Vincent DePaul at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. The Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S.
