Hazel (Roberts) England age 70 of Portage, Michigan, formerly of Monroe, Michigan passed away in her daughter's home Wednesday, November 11, 2009. She was born on March 23, 1939 in Iaeger, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Levi and Vilona (Branham) Roberts. She married Wilson England on September 1, 1956 in LaSalle Township, Michigan. She is survived by her husband, Wilson England, a son, Glen England, of St. Petersburg, Florida, two daughters, Lora (Donald) Stiffler of Mosheim, Tennessee and Beverly (Ronald) Snyder, Jr. of Portage, Michigan, 4 grandchildren, Ronnie and Dustin Snyder and Emmylou and Will Stiffler, 1 great-grandchild, Aden Herrera, and 2 sisters, Martella Arnold of Canal Winchester, Ohio and Pauline Gooch of Monroe, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, Audrey Trombley, Dora Fletcher and Eveline Rogers and 4 brothers, Pershing, Emmit, Wanis (Sparky) and Ed Roberts. Visitation will be on Friday, from 5-8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd. in Monroe where funeral services celebrating her life will be on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 11 am.
