Harold Edwin Robertson, age 91 of Brownstown, MI, passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at Hampton Manor Assisted Living in Taylor, MI.
Born January 22, 1933 in Speedway, WV, Harold was the son of the late Robert and Beatrice (Craghead) Robertson. After graduating high school, Harold served in the U.S. Air Force during the post Korean War era.
On August 31, 1963, Harold married Kathleen Julia Linehan at St. Dorothy's Catholic Church in Warren, MI and together raised three children.
Harold was employed by General Motors for many years as a Journeyman Electrician at the GM Tech Center in Warren. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved to spend time with the grandkids, especially teaching them how to fish and enjoy the outdoors.
Harold is survived by his wife Kathleen; two sons, Edwin Daniel Robertson of Monroe and Timothy Harold Robertson of Brighton, MI; daughter, Julia Anne (Donald) Raymond of Southgate, MI; five grandchildren: Hailey Nicole Mitchell, Ryan Joseph (Mercedes) Robertson, Kathleen Mary Raymond, Jonathon James Raymond, and Makayla Anne Raymond; and one soon to arrive great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded by two brothers, Robert and Lake Robertson.
Family and friends may visit from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 25th at Bacarella Funeral Home. Harold will then be taken to Memorial Funeral Directory in Princeton, WV for additional visitation with burial at Athens Cemetery.
