Obituary

Harold E. Beauman, Sr. 86, of Monroe, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015, at the Wellsprings Lutheran Services, Monroe. He had been in poor health since entering the nursing home in March.
He was born January 30, 1929 in Monroe, MI to Arthur and Elma (Davis) Beauman. Harold was a 1946 graduate of Monroe High School, and married Betty L. Tiede on October 8, 1948 in Blissfield, MI. Sadly, she preceded him in death on June 5, 2010.
He went on to serve as an apprentice tool and die maker for Ford Motor Company, Monroe from 1950-54, then remained as an employee until his retirement in 1990.
He was a devout Christian his entire life, and was a former member of the First Baptist Church, then Redeemer Fellowship Church, where he was very active as a member of the choir, and served as an usher as well as a deacon.
He enjoyed camping in his fifth wheel travel trailer, traveling the United States every year, and was a member of the Local 723, UAW, and the Order of DeMolay Degree of Chevalier.
He leaves to cherish his memory his four sons, Harold E. (Cynthia) Beauman II of Pittsburg, TX, Gregory T. (Sandra) Beauman of Albuquerque, NM, Kevin E. (Cynthia) Beauman of Monroe, and Jeffrey E Beauman of Monroe; two brothers, Norman (Addie) Beauman of Monroe, and Warren (Joyce) Beauman of DeLand, FL; 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
As well as his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Friends are invited to call at the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 South Telegraph Road, on Wednesday, from 1-8 PM, where funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Rev John Schinkel, Chaplain at Wellsprings Lutheran Services will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in his name are suggested to be made to Redeemer Fellowship Church or Bible a Month Club, American Bible Society.
