Gregory Howard Carr, 55 years, of Toledo, OH went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 7, 2012 in his home.
Born November 16, 1956 in Toledo, OH, Greg was the son of Donald H. and Barbara J. (Allore) Carr. Greg was a 1974 graduate of Waite High School in Toledo and went on to receive an Associates of Business Degree from the University of Toledo.
On June 10, 1989 Greg married his beloved wife the former Christine L. Bartelt at Glenwood Lutheran Church in Toledo.
Greg was employed as a check processor for Fifth Third Bank and as a stockman for Kroger, both located in Toledo.
Greg enjoyed reading, watching sporting events, boating and spending time in Florida. Most of all Greg loved his family.
Greg is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Christine, two loving children: Gregory D. Carr and Ashley L. (Brandon) Wilson of Toledo, his caring mother Barbara J. Carr of LaSalle, MI, two brothers: Matthew P. (Melinda) Carr of Monroe, MI and Jon A. Carr of Maumee, OH, a sister: Kimberly M. Montgomery of Toledo, his mother in law Norma Bartelt of Toledo, his father in law Donald Bartelt of Coldwater, MI, and many nieces and nephews. Sadly, Greg was preceded in death by his father, a grandson: Rex Wilson, a brother: Mark and his grandparents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., in Monroe, where funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in LaSalle, MI
