Grady M. Mosher, age 95, of Monroe, MI passed away Friday, February 22, 2008 at 8:20 PM in the Lutheran Home. Grady was born March 10, 1912 in Claiborne County, TN the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Lena (Spurling) Jones. She moved to Monroe in 1931. On March 3, 1934 Grady married Basil Mosher in Monroe. Sadly, he preceded her in death on May 22, 1978. A homemaker, Grady enjoyed reading and playing cards. Grady was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monroe where she held various leadership positions including; bible school teacher and President of the Women's Fellowship. Grady is survived by her 2 sons; Charles L. Mosher and Robert J. (Pat) Mosher both of Monroe, her brother Dan Jones of St. Louis, MO, 6 grandchildren; Michael (Debi) Mosher, Stephen Mosher, Brian (Janine) Mosher, Crystal (Dennis) Caldwell, Carrie (Martin) Jurich, and Craig (Laurie) Mosher, 10 great grandchildren; Chad and Kyle Mosher, Megan Istrup, Mitchell and Mathew Jurich, Courtney and Codie Caldwell, Sarah, Amelia and Nicholas Mosher. In addition to her husband and parents, Grady was preceded in death by her daughter in law Barbara A. Mosher, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Visitation for Grady will be held at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI, Sunday, February 24, 2008 from 2:00 PM until funeral services celebrating her life at 7:00 PM. The Rev. Dr. Kenneth Dunn, Pastor of First Baptist Church will officiate. Private interment services will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
