Gary L. Carmon, age 75 of Monroe, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024 in his home.
Gary was born on April 11, 1948 in Monroe. He was the son of the late Robert and Hazel Mae (Loope) Carmon. On November 2, 1974, he married Kim Rochester in Flat Rock, MI.
Gary was a truck driver for most of his working life for various companies. He enjoyed being on his CB radio, fishing, woodworking, and dabbling in electronic repair work.
Gary is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kim Carmon; his children, Gary Carmon of River Rouge, MI, Robert (Kelynn) Carmon of Manitou Beach, MI, and Jennifer Carmon of Monroe; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by four brothers.
Visitation is scheduled from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Apr. 11th (Gary's birthday) at Bacarella Funeral Home. No funeral service will be held in accordance with Gary's request. He will be laid to rest at Roselawn Memorial Park following the visitation.
