Obituary

Gale Cole, 80 years, of Monroe, Michigan, went to be with the Lord, June 26, 2023 at Seacrest Nursing Center.
Born December 29, 1942 in Tennessee, Gale was the son of Frank and Sarah (Maddox) Cole. He attended Ida Schools.
Gale began his career working as a blacksmith at Greenfield Village. Later, he started his own business, Cole Horseshoeing. He was a well-known farrier throughout Monroe County. Gale enjoyed watching and attending rodeos. Gale was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend.
Gale is survived by his daughter, Lisa (Greg) Urban of Petersburg, sister, Jean (Marvin) Baumann of Monroe, brothers, Duane (Judi) Cole of Green Valley, AZ, Ron (Trish) Cole of Monroe, and a sister in law, Reva Yentz.
Gale was preceded in death by his parents, his son Frankie Cole, brother, Dwade Cole, and a niece, Sharon Lobzun.
Visitation will begin at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161, where funeral services celebrating Gale's life will be held at 2:00 pm. Rev. George B.A. Fountain will officiate. Private interment will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Seacrest Nursing Center for the many years of loving care given to Gale.
