Freeda Leach passed away Saturday, January 25, 2025 surrounded by family at Wellspring Lutheran Services Monroe.
Freeda was born on September 26, 1932 in Speedwell, TN to Casper and Millie (Pierce) Turner. She married Andy Leach May 27, 1951 in Monroe. He preceded in her death on March 30, 2005.
She worked at Consolidated Paper in Monroe, providing a food service cart for employees, then as a homemaker and beautiful caregiver.
Freeda loved having family & friends stop by to visit. She loved babysitting and opened her home to care for family and friends.
While living at Wellspring Lutheran Home she became friends with all the people she met. She might not remember names but loved all the hugs & attention.
The family would like to thank the staff at Wellspring Services for the excellent care they provided Freeda.
Freeda is survived by her sons, Larry (Bernie) Leach, Donald (Dinah) Leach; grandchildren Jason (Michelle), Nicole, Derrick & Dustyn Leach; great grandchildren Cody, Jenna, Jaylynn, Miriah, Alexis, Kelsey, & Braylon; sisters, Faye Patterson & Trula Edwards-Thompson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and great-granddaughter Skylyn Leach and siblings, Jack Turner, Pauline Harmon, Irene Watkins.

In accordance with Freeda's wishes cremation has taken place. A private committal service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
