Esther Cedeno, age 55, of Monroe, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024.
Esther was born November 15, 1968 in Mexico, she was the daughter of Arnulfo and Esther (Castro) Garibay. She married Miguel Cedeno.
She was employed by Yanfang (formerly Johnson Control) in Monroe.
Esther had a great faith in God and great outlook on life. She was always smiling, laughing, telling jokes, dancing and trying to make others see the brighter side of life also. She enjoyed going to the gym and she cherished the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Miguel; two sons, Angel (Kaylie) Cedeno of Monroe and Josue (Ryan Preciado) Cedeno of Alaska; eight siblings, Teresa Garibay, Arnulfo Garibay, Jose Garibay, Guillermina Garibay, Nena Garibay, Martha Garibay, Yolonda Garibay and Josefina Garibay; two grandchildren, Sage and Maya, several nieces and nephews and their families.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2024 from 11 a.m. until funeral services begin at 3 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe, MI .

Esther nació el 15 de noviembre de 1968 en México, era hija de Arnulfo y Esther (Castro) Garibay. Se casó con Miguel Cedeño.
Fue empleada de Yanfang (anteriormente Johnson Control) en Monroe.
Ester tenía una gran fe en Dios y una gran perspectiva de la vida. Ella siempre estaba sonriendo, riendo, contando chistes, bailando y tratando de hacer que los demás también vieran el lado bueno de la vida. Le gustaba ir al gimnasio y apreciaba el tiempo que pasaba con su familia.
Le sobreviven su esposo, Miguel; dos hijos, Angel (Kaylie) Cedeño de Monroe y Josue (Ryan Preciado) Cedeño de Alaska; ocho hermanos, Teresa Garibay, Arnulfo Garibay, José Garibay, Guillermina Garibay, Nena Garibay, Martha Garibay, Yolonda Garibay y Josefina Garibay; dos nietos, Sage y Maya, varias sobrinas y sobrinos y sus familias.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres.
El velorio se llevará a cabo el miércoles 24 de julio de 2024 desde las 11 a. m. hasta que comiencen los servicios funerarios a las 3 p. m. en Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Road, Monroe, MI.
