Erich W. Cole, 37 years, of Carleton, MI went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2013 in Monroe.
Born August 14, 1975 in Detroit, MI Erich was the son of Leonard and Patricia M. (Gladue) Cole. Erich grew up in Carleton and attended Airport High School.
Erich was a self employed tattoo artist. Erich's talents as an artist could only be described as a gift from God. An incredibly talented illustrator, Erich also loved to read, watch movies, listen to music, and work out. Erich was a very charismatic person and enjoyed making people laugh. His smile was infectious and he brought joy to all he met. More than anything Erich was all about family.
Erich is survived by his loving mom and dad: Patricia M. and Paul Lemanowicz, of Carleton, MI, his treasured son: Shane N. Cole of Clinton, MI, his grandfather: Howard Gladue of Carleton, MI, his sister: Rebecca E. Loope of Luna Pier, MI, two brothers: Justin A. Cole of Marysville, MI and Paul Lemanowicz II of Lincoln Park, MI, his loving girlfriend: Elizabeth M. Vajcner of Monroe, and four cherished nephews: Bryce, Brandon, Donovan and Connor.
Sadly, Erich was preceded in death by his father: Leonard Cole, and grandparents: Mary Gladue and Leonard and Lottie Cole.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., in Monroe where funeral services celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Roy Southerland, pastor of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Erich will be interred at St. Joseph Cemetery in Monroe.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Meadow Montessori in Monroe.
