Dr. Douglas Doja Radulovic, 55, formerly of Monroe, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2013, at Arbor Hospice, Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was born June 6, 1958 in Monroe to Milivoje and Mildred (Stoyak) Radulovic.
Doug was a 1976 graduate of Monroe High School, then went on to further his education at the University of Michigan, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in 1980. He then enrolled in the Northwestern University Dental School, receiving his Doctor of Dental Science degree in 1987.
Doug will be remembered for his genuine friendship to others, his ease of laughter, his euphemisms such as "Hey, man", and how much he loved all his friends and family. He will be missed by every life he touched, and all those that knew him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his brother and sister in law, Lazo and Kim, niece and nephew, Katie and Alex Radulovic, and father, Milo Radulovic, and many beloved cousins and family members.
Sadly, his mother, preceded him in death in 1994.
Friends are invited to call at the Bacarella Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8, from 4-8 PM. His life will be celebrated at his funeral service on Wednesday, October 9, at Monroe Missionary Baptist Church at 3 PM, where he will lie in state starting at 2 PM. Rev. Roy Southerland will officiate, and burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
