Dorothy L. McClain, 86, of Riverview died Sunday, Nov. 12th at 4:35 p.m. in the Oakwood Southshore Medical Center, Trenton She had been seriously ill since entering the hospital Oct. 19th. Friends may call Wednesday at St. Cyprian Catholic Church, Riverview from 11:30 a.m. until a Mass of the Resurrection at 12:30 p.m. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. William J. Promesso, Pastor. Interment will be at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wyandotte. Dorothy was born March 11, 1920 in Wyandotte, the daughter of Henry and JoHanna (Kolpacke) Grahl. A lifetime resident of Wyandotte and Riverview, she married Albert McClain, June 25, 1938 in Detroit. At one time they lived in Prudenville (Houghton Lake), MI for 10 years. She was a member of St. Cyprian Catholic Church and at one time worked for Lucille's Drapery in Wyandotte as a seamstress. She was an avid bingo player. Surviving her are two sons, Albert Wayne (Janet) of Brownstown and Dennis Michael (Linda) of Cornville, AZ, a daughter Donna Marie (Leonard) Mieskowski of Riverview, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Sadly, her Husband, Dec. 10, 1993, 2 sisters and 1 brother, preceded her in death. Memorials may be given to the Donor's Choice.
