Doris M. Dines, age 72, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing at Sylvania.
Doris was born February 23, 1952 in Monroe, she was the daughter of Virgil and Marguerite (Goslin) Russeau. She was married to Tim Dines, who preceded her in death.
She was a 1970 graduate of Monroe High School.
Doris was a beautician; she had worked at Jack Russeau Originals and JCPenney Monroe.
Doris had a very outgoing personality, she was always joking and making people laugh. She was very kind and compassionate and had a genuine concern for the wellbeing of others. She enjoyed camping, cookouts, bingo, crossword puzzles, music and playing cards. She especially loved going to church, and spending time with her family and friends.
She had a great love for the Lord and had faith that He was there for her whenever she would call upon Him for help.
She is survived by her two sons, Justin (Carolyn) Lingar of Monroe and Nicholas Dines of Toledo; two sisters, Nancy (Gordon) Deaton and Beatrice Pipis; three grandchildren, Justin, Jr., Jacob and Logan, two great grandchildren, Julianna and Violet; several nieces and nephews, and a host of close friends, that meant the world to her, especially, Rick Barlow.
In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents and five brothers, Bob, Roger, Jim, Jack and Ronnie.
A memorial visitation will be held from 12 to 3 p.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd, Monroe, where a memorial service will begin at 3 p.m.
