Obituary

Donald A. "Bud" Harper, age 49 of Monroe, passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, March 31, 2020 in his home.
Born February 16, 1971 in Trenton, Michigan, Donald was the son of Donald and Carol (Biddle) Harper. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1989 where he played football and attended Monroe County Community College.
On May 17, 1997, Don married Susan M. Clark in Monroe. He worked in the lumber business for approximately 30 years. First for the former Wickes Lumber and currently for Carter Lumber.
Bud was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He was "all in" when it came to anything related to the Steelers, Penguins or Pirates.
Donald is survived by a daughter, Jenna Clark of Monroe; mother, Carol Harper of Monroe; brother, Daniel (Krista) Harper of Monroe; four nieces: Taylor (Randy Luft) Harper, Briel Harper, Jolee Harper, and Lexi Kennedy; great-niece, Emma Haworth; two great-nephews, Owen and Kolten Luft; his best friend and "brother", Jerry Escheck; and his beloved pet cat, Azzie. He was preceded in death by his father.
Cremation will take place in accordance with his wishes. Due to current social gathering limitations, a memorial celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Bacarella Funeral home is assisting the family.
