Donald Charles Boucher, age 83, of Monroe, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2022 at Fountain View of Monroe.
Donald was born February 26, 1939 in Saginaw, he was the son of Charles and Eileen (Zimmer) Boucher. He married Patricia A. McDevitt April 17, 1987 in Monroe.
Don worked as a pipefitter for Local 671 for more than 60 years, retiring in 2006. He was very proud of his grandson, Bryan, for following in his footsteps as a pipefitter and they were able to work together one time Don's last assignment was Bryan's first.
He loved his Harley Davidson Motorcycles and going on motorcycle trips.
Don liked to be busy all the time, always tinkering and helping others with different projects, even building bookshelves and tables if they were needed. He also enjoyed making wine and sharing with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Pat Boucher, three children, Babette Raymo, Bartley Boucher and Nichole (Bill) Brink; five siblings, Louis Boucher, Jon Boucher, Barbara (Edward) Kosak, Charlene (Richard) DeLodge and William (Lori) Boucher; seven grandchildren, Bryan (Maranda), Bryttany (Jared), Brooklyn, Donald, Alex, AJ and Adam (Andrea); four great grandchildren, Ansley, Carson, Everlyn and Emery.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Monday, September 12, 2022 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd, Monroe, with funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
