Dianne M. Phillips, age 86 of Live Oak, FL, formerly of Monroe, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, FL after suffering a massive stroke.
Born March 7, 1939 in Osceola, WI, Dianne was the daughter of the late Virgil and Lillian (Johnson) Cain. She moved to Monroe with her family as a teenager and was a 1957 graduate of Ida High School where she loved being in the school band and playing piano.
Dianne taught piano for over 30 years from her home in Monroe. She loved her piano students, gardening, and her husband, Joel Phillips.
Dianne is survived by her beloved daughter, Jill (Bruce) Calhoun; son, Donald (Jennifer) Brost; step-son, Chad (Amy) Phillips; daughter-in-law, Sandra Brost; ten grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
In addition to her parents, Dianne was preceded in death by husbands, Donald L. Brost, Sr. and Joel Phillips; daughter, Roxanne Brost; and son, Lynn Brost.
Family and friends may visit from 11 a.m. until time of funeral at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov.6th at Bacarella Funeral Home. Dianne's step-son, Chad Phillips, will officiate followed by burial at Roselawn Memorial Park.
