Dianne Kay Oley, 77 years, of Monroe, Michigan, passed away peacefully, at her home, surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
Born January 9, 1947 in Monroe, Diane was the daughter of the late George and Annabelle (Bogedine) Pfluge, Sr. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School and was a longtime employee of La-Z-Boy, from which she retired.
In 1979 she married Edward Joseph Oley in Monroe. Sadly, he preceded her in death on June 24, 2020. Together they enjoyed their classic car club, antique shopping, taking care of their home, and spending time with family.
To cherish her memory, Dianne is survived by her sons: John E. and Randy A. (Ellen E.) Harper, Patrick and Ronald Oley, daughters: Shannon Moore and Teri Oley, seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a brother, George (Patricia) Pfluge of TN, and a sister-in-law, Cherie Pfluge.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dianne was preceded in death by her stepfather, Shelby Carter, her sister Judy Hammack, and her brother, Willard "Woody" Pfluge.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-7 pm at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161, where funeral services celebrating Dianne's life will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 11:00 am. The Rev. Craig Killinen, pastor of BridgePoint Church, will officiate. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
