Deshaun Laidler, age 45, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, Toledo.
Deshaun was born March 11, 1978 in Detroit. He was the son of Elder and Emma (Moore) Laidler.
He is a graduate of Milan High School and a member of Grace Missionary Baptist Church.
Deshaun was a hi-lo operator for GXO Logistics.
He loved to read the Bible, listen to music and spend time with his family.
Deshaun always had a lesson to teach someone or a shoulder to lean on for anyone that needed it. He also had a way of making people feel the positive energy that he carried with him.
He is survived by four children, Tyler Hensley of Monroe, Taylor Hensley of Monroe, Breana Laidler of Monroe and Vivian Laidler of Michigan; five siblings, Troy Laidler of Ohio, Cassandra Laidler of Detroit, Elder Laidler of Kentucky, Andreana Laidler of Detroit and Benita (Anthony) Saxton of Clinton Twp.; four grandchildren, Elijah, Gracie, Faith and Aniya and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI 48161where funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
