Dennis J. Boedicker, 65 years, of Grass Lake, Michigan, formerly of Monroe, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 2, 2026, at Henry Ford Hospital in Jackson, Michigan.
Born May 4, 1960, in Monroe, Dennis was the son of the late James H. and Roberta (Jacobs) Boedicker. Dennis attended Monroe Public Schools and was a 1978 graduate of Monroe High School. Dennis grew up in Monroe and moved to Grass Lake in 2005.
On July 20, 2004, Dennis married his beloved wife, the former Melody A. Kehres, in Toledo, Ohio.
Dennis was employed as a Machine Operator for H.B. Fuller in Michigan Center, Michigan for 10 years prior to his retirement in 2025. Prior to his employment at H.B. Fuller, Dennis worked as a construction laborer.
Dennis enjoyed woodworking, tending to his yard, fishing, boating, and camping. He will be remembered as a kind and generous person with a smile that lit up a room, which in turn brought a smile to everyone's face. He truly lived life to the fullest. Most of all Dennis enjoyed time spent with family and friends.
Dennis is survived by his beloved wife of 21 years, Melody, two loving children: Stacey L. (Boedicker) Turner of Monroe and Jason R. (Christie) Keuhnlein of Monroe, four cherished grandchildren: McKayla Beliles, Mya Beliles, Abbigail Turner, and Easton Kuehnlein, four siblings, Kathleen (Terry) Pirkle of Blissfield, Sharleen (Tom) Miller of Toledo, Colleen Keck of Temperance, and Denise England of Monroe, and his fur baby, his boxer, Max.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by three of his fur babies: Miley, Diesel, and Bailey.
In keeping with Dennis's wishes cremation will be held. Memorial visitation to tell stories and share special moments with family and friends will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161.
