Davis (Skeeter) Gulley, 64 years, of LaSalle, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2025 at his home.
Born October 17, 1960 in Kansas City, Missouri, Davis was the son of the late Albert Davis and Elmyra Jane (Railey) Gulley, Sr. The family moved to Monroe when Davis was a child. He attended Monroe Public Schools.
On March 14, 1980, Davis married his beloved wife, the former Cheryl Zorn, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Monroe.
Davis worked on the oil rigs in Texas. Later, he got into sales for various auto dealerships. He even owned his own used car lot at one given time before moving back to Monroe. He continued to work in sales at multiple car dealerships in Monroe. Davis was currently employed as a sales representative for Buck Brothers Asphalt Company in Toledo.
Over the years Davis enjoyed boating with the family and playing cards with friends. His greatest passion was 18 holes on a golf course with friends. Most of all Davis loved time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.
Davis is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 45 years, Cheryl, three loving children: Krystle (Gulley) Mink, Harmony (Matt) Langford, and Skylier (Meghan McLaughlin) Gulley all of Temperance, six cherished grandchildren: Malek, Macie, Hudson, Paige, Meila and Hadleigh, and his father and mother in law, Lawrence and Jane Zorn of LaSalle.
Davis was preceded in death by his father, Albert, his mother, Elmyra Jane Brown and his brother, Gary Brown.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe, Michigan, 48161. Private interment will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park.
