Danny D. Laws, 64 years, a lifelong resident of Monroe, MI passed away on Friday, August 26, 2011 at Mercy Memorial Hospital. Danny had been in declining health for the past 1 ½ years.
Born November 28, 1946 in Monroe, Danny was the son of Howard and Natalina E. (Notarantonio) (Notario) Laws Jr. Danny was 1966 graduate of the Flint School for the Deaf.
Danny was employed for 10 years at Research and Design in Petersburg, MI.
Danny was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness since 1984. Danny volunteered and helped build the Kingdom Hall buildings in Monroe. He also volunteered in the World Wide Free Home Bible Study Program.
Danny enjoyed woodworking, drafting, design and blue printing.
Danny is survived by his loving mother; Natalina Laws of Monroe, 2 brothers; Vincent Z. (Marlene) Laws of Monroe and Howard E. Laws of Toledo, OH, 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Sadly his father preceded him in death on September 15, 2000.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 12- 8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., in Monroe. On Monday, August 29, 2011 visitation will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness from 10:00 AM until funeral services at 11:00 AM. An Elder from the Jehovah's Witness North Congregation will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
