Craig W. "Willie" Sachs, age 58, of Monroe, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022, in his home surrounded by family.
Craig was born September 13, 1963 in Trenton, he was the son of Floyd C and Nancy A. (Lehr) Sachs.
He was a 1982 graduate of Monroe High School. He enjoyed collecting different things, especially eagles and Looney Toons. He also liked to grow flowers and plants.
Craig was a service technician and installation specialist for Monroe Swimming Pools and most recently Sachs Pools LLC.
He is survived his mother, Nancy Sachs of Monroe; three siblings, Lorna (Don) Lieto of Monroe, Keith Sachs of Monroe and Julie Sachs of Naperville, IL; his longtime companion and fiancé, Gena Vuich of Monroe; five nieces and nephews, Heather (Jeremy) Head, Andrew (Ashley) Lieto, Megan (Mike) McWilliams, Taylor Sachs and Brooke Sachs and six great nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 10:30 a.m. until a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. at Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd., Monroe. Private interment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the family to help with burial costs.
