Connie Mae Reynolds, 61, of Monroe, died at 12:42 AM, Thursday, February 22, 2007 in the Mercy Memorial Hospital where she had been since Saturday. She was born November 20, 1945 in Monroe to Merle D. and Margaret (Williams) Reynolds. A lifetime resident of Monroe, she was a 1964 graduate of Jefferson High School. She loved animals, especially cats, going to garage sales, eating out, and also playing cards. Survivors include her mother, longtime companion, Gerald Lymond of Monroe, 4 brothers, Richard M. (Edie) of Tacoma, WA, William E. (Marlene) of LaSalle, Robert T. of Ogden, UT, Greg A. (Mary) of Monroe, sister, Sharon M. (Robert) Lusch of Monroe, and sister-in-law, Elizabeth (Liz) Reynolds of Newport. She was preceded in death by her father, in 1979, and 2 brothers, Larry and Herbert. Friends may call Friday at the Bacarella Funeral Home from 2-8 PM, where services will be held Saturday at 11 AM. The Rev. Rex Jones Jr. of Bethany Baptist Church will officiate and burial will take place at Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle. Memorial gifts in her name may be given to the Humane Society of Monroe County.
